With the decreasing number of corona virus cases in Spain, the government is concentrating on how and when to lighten up this lockdown. The prime minister himself put forward the idea of easing this lockdown in second half of may in parliament.
However, the Europe facing the largest outbreak still has a huge death rate in hundreds in Spain. Recently, the country reported a around 435 people losing their lives overnight. Moreover, Spain has the highest number of positive corona virus cases of health care workers which is around 33,000.
Furthermore, the country has announced strict restriction on the children to be kept indoors and on Tuesday evening, the government spokeswoman declared children to leave the house only for an essential trip to some doctor or some supermarket only with an adult. And in a press conference when the authorities were asked various questions about children getting some fresh air, the spokeswoman answered,” no-one is going to measure the time to buy a bread.”
And after a lot of criticism, the health minister announced that children under 14 are allowed to have short trips but maintaining a safe distance from each other.
